How far along were you when you went to your first doctors appointment?

Usually nothing happens before 8 weeks. Many won't do an ultrasound.  It can be inconclusive and why freak someone out who may have been off on her dates. Some offices,won't see you until 10 weeks. So you're fine.

I found out i was pregnant at less then 4 weeks and called to make an appointment and they asked my last period date and made the appointment for when id be exactly 8 weeks. They did and US to make sure the dating was right

Thanks ladies! I'm six weeks today and my insurance won't kick in until next week so I just wanted to make sure it was okay that I haven't gone to the doctor yet. I feel better now, thanks!

First appointment at 10 weeks. The doctor didn't do much but confirm pregnancy, weight, check to make sure I was measuring right.  First ultrasound at 12 weeks.

Told my dr at 6 weeks then she made the next appointment when I was 12 weeks

I was 6 weeks when I went in for check up and 8 when I got an ultrasound. This time I'll be 7 weeks when I get my ultrasound

I found out I was pregnant a week before I was supposed to get my period... I just had a feeling so I tested and it was positive. Went to see the doctor the next day for a blood draw to see my hCG levels. Everything was okay with that, so I waited until I was 7 weeks to go for the ultrasound. Didn't want to go earlier because sometimes they can't catch the heartbeat earlier and wouldn't be able to handle it due to a previous miscarriage.

I go Wednesday and I will be exactly 6 weeks, however, no ultrasound, just a regular check-up.
