I am confused by pain after ovulation

We are trying for baby #2 :) first little love was a surprise so we are new to the planning side of things...I have never had bad cramps or ovulation pain (my family is lucky that way I guess) and since we have started tracking, everything seems to feel the same every month so we are starting to figure more out...this month tho I am only 2 dpo but I am having a full ache and a full feeling (it's hard to describe but quite uncomfortable) and it got to the point where I had to lie down because sitting up was too unconfortable and I have never expierences anything like that before...is that a normal thing?
