My son's father and government assistance

Marie • Hello, my name is Marie, I'm 27 years old and I joined this website the moment I found out that I was pregnant. This is my first pregnancy and I'm praying for a 100% healthy baby boy or girl 😊
So my son's father is on government assistance.. I mean from food stamps to cash assistance.. To apartment vouchers.. If I put him on child support and he doesn't pay, do they take that from him? I need to know this info or where I can get this information from. Thanks
