Reborn Doll?
So, I've wanted to have kids, since I was literally a kid myself. I used to run around pretending to be pregnant and all that. Well, it's only gotten a LOT stronger over the years, and I just have this overwhelming urge to have a baby. Let me break down why I can't, just yet:
•I'm a lesbian, with a long distance girlfriend
•We aren't stable financially yet
•We aren't even engaged yet, and you have to be married in order for both of a same-sex couple to be in baby's birth certificate in my state.
•I'm only about to be 20 next month, and need time to get settled.
•We want to have our own house first
•I have PCOS
•Fertility treatments and donor sperm are crazy expensive.
Anyway, I was thinking about getting a reborn doll to help calm the urge at least for a little while. If you don't know, reborns are dolls, with soft, silicone skin, weighted to feel like a real baby. My girlfriend thinks it's kinda weird, but I honestly think it would help. What do you guys think?
