Cloth Diapers.

Eve
I never use them and I want to SO bad. Basically, my first question would be is it going to rack up my electric bill from all the washing? We live in an apartment with a washer and dryer in our unit. We don't pay water, but we pay electric and heat. Second, I am somewhat familiar with how you wash the cloth but do certain brands have a different washing routine? Third, I know you have to use a wet bag for the diapers. Do I throw the whole wet bag in the wash machine when I wash my diapers? Is my washer can smell poopy?! Fourth, how do I find cost efficient laundry detergent for my diapers? What about cost efficient but reliable cloth diapers and inserts? Am I going to have use a certain cloth at night for baby? What do I use for wipes? Cloth wipes? And, lastly how in the hell do pants fit over the cloth diapers?!! LOL... Do I have to buy bigger clothes for babies diapers? I need all the advice, secrets, whatever info you got. My family is "conditioned" to disposable diapers. So, I'm lost in sauce. My little one is almost 3 months old. I want to cloth diaper, because I think it's better for my babies skin and better for the earth.
