Did membrane sweep work for you ?

Please comment your experience ☺. I just had mine done today at 38 weeks. She said shes positive it will work because baby was so low and i was dialated to a 3. If not she'll try it again next week so i dont have to get induced.

Got mine done today around 930am. I am 39+6, due 11/17. It worked. I had a favorable cervix.. i was 5 cm after she did it. I started getting unbearable contractions around 7pm. Got to L&D at 8pm.. i was 8/9cm dilated. Just hanging out now until my dose of antibiotics kicks in since I tested positive for GBS.

Ive had it done with two of my other pregnancys and my water broke within 24 hrs each time. Had it done today so hoping it works soon!!

I had mine done yesterday at 40w2d and it made me cramp, but nothing more than that 😭

It work for all my children. Just recently had my 4th child on the 10th of november. Every time i have had a sweep with 48hrs i have naturally gone into labour. Good luck. Wont be long now!!!

I've had my membranes stripped 3 times since I was 39 weeks and it has not worked for me. I am currently 40 weeks 3 days. 3 cm dialated 80% effaced with no contractions and no water break. Believe I lost my mucus plug yesterday morning. But no signs of labor yet. If not here this week I will be induced Monday the 21st. Which means depending on when she decides to greet the world we won't leave the hospital until the day before or day of thanksgiving...

Had mine done yesterday, 3 cm dilated, 60% effaced. Had contractions all day yesterday and they got really intense and close together to the point where I was getting ready to go to L&D, also lost part of my mucus plug. So I took a shower because I wanted to be nice and clean before I went in but then my contraction spaced out so I held off. I've been having relatively painful contractions all day today, 8-10 min apart, and lost a lot more of my mucus plug with quite a bit of blood in it. I'm going to go for a long walk and hope this baby decides to make her appearance sooner rather than later. 🙏

I was dilated to a four and my cervix is very soft and I've had 3 sweeps and it's not done a thing lol it just depends on if your body is ready. Hope it works for you! I'm set to be induced Sunday morning 😄
