What do I do with all these blankets??

I'm a FTM and we currently live in New Zealand. My partner is a physician at a rural hospital and every single person in that town has knit us booties and blankets... we have 20+ blankets and baby isn't due for another 6 weeks. Does anyone have suggestions or ideas about what to do with all of these? I will say the quality and materials are variable... wool, acrylics, etc... I know that the people that made them put a ton of time and love into them and they all got personal thank you cards from both my partner and I. But we feel a bit over run. Any thoughts on uses? Creative ways to remember all this love?
