Pre labour?

Question

I'm 31+5 and have had constant back and abdominal pains similar to period pains for the past 48 hours.
Did anyone else experience this before labour?if so how long was it before active labour kicked in?

If your suspecting pre-term labour i wouldn't be sat wondering how long it is before your going into active labour id be getting down the maternity unit and getting checked over because at yhis gestation its very early still. If your in early labour they may be able to stop it or at least give you steriod lung injections for baby's lungs to mature a bit better. Don't take risks its serious be safe not sorry.  I dont wish to come across rude, harsh, blunt in any way at all honestly so please dont think this but time sat speculating wether its labour could be time spent saving your baby and giving it the best chances!!
