Is it a good idea to start a day care?

I'm thinking of starting a day care. Any suggestions or opinions or thoughts from moms here?

Don't you need some sort of license or something? Please tell me people can't just open up a private in home daycare without having a degree in early childhood education and cpr certificate

I was thinking about it and it would do good in our military community, but no amount of money I could actually get from watching kids in my home would be worth it 😂 especially since most people only charge 5-8$ an hour to watch kids in our communities

I personally could never do it. I am a stay at home mom and I watch my niece 2 days a week and periodically watch other people's kids and after a week of having other kids everyday I want to rip my hair out.

According to everyone I have known that ran a daycare there is absolutely no money in it. It is a lot of work and codes that have to be followed exactly.
