Is it normal to be 70% effaced and not dialated at all? Does that mean labor is near? Ftm.

That's exactly what my Dr said I was yesterday. 0 dilated and 70%. I think it's hard to say if that means labor is near. Some people could change and progress quickly and some people could stay 0/70% for weeks. I'm a FTM too though, so that's just what I understand to be true. I could be mistaken. Let's hope we both keep progressing! I have an induction scheduled for Tuesday night...I hope I'm at least a little dilated when I get there!

Doesn't mean anything. You can be so.ewhat dilated and effaced and still not be near labor at all.

I've been dilated and effaced for over a month and still no baby. Ugh
