Does the darkness come & go? If so, then 95% of the time, you can ameliorate the situation through simple changes:
- regular sleep regime (aim for 8-9 hours daily)
- remain hydrated (3L of water)
- fresh, healthy foods only that you prepare yourself 
- lots of fresh fruit & veggies 
- avoid too much sodium/sugars/dairy/animal meats (absolutely no sodas, coffees, junk foods)
- daily exercise (doesn't mean gym. Just walking & activities you enjoy)
- whenever you go near the skin around your eyes, NEVER pull or rub or tug! When removing eye makeup, use gentle small sweeps with a soft cotton ball. You may have to use more than one cotton ball per eye but that's ok as the skin there is the most delicate so you don't want to break any of the tiny capillaries and cause more damage. Roll a q-tip along to pick up any fallout/mistakes you may make during makeup application.
- dab a gentle moisturizer under your eyes every night and use sunblock during the day like a crazy person (even better if you wear a sunhat too)

This all sounds psycho but I'm Asian so skincare was drummed into me from early childhood. I hated it but am now 40 and grateful.

IF you've always had dark circles and so do most of your family members, you're looking at plastic surgery then as it's genetic 😕 However, in both cases, nothing that a little strategically placed concealer can't fix!

Mine is a vitamin issue if I take vitamins regularly after a while they go away. If I stop taking them they come back.
