My daughter has been waving to beat the band lately. We say "Hi," "Bye," or "See you later!" When we wave. Today as we were bringing her to day care at my grandma's, she waved and said "Hi!" pretty clearly. She's said the dadadadada and mamamamama, and I think she knows what they mean (says mamamamamama when she wants to come to me or wants my hand back by her when she's in her car seat). Hi totally counts as her first official word, right!?!?
