sore throat again?

I had a really bad swollen/red/burning throat about 3 weeks ago and a bad cough with it, I went to the doctor and I got an antibiotic (Z-pack) and I finished the full prescription and didn't miss any days. Now I'm having the same exact sore throat Again and beginning to cough. Not sure what to do, I can make another appointment but I don't want to pay $40 for her to not do anything or try the same antibiotics that didn't work last time. I also keep randomly breaking out in a sweat but I don't have a thermometer so I don't know if I'm running a fever or not. Any ideas on remedies or what to do? Salt water gargle and hot water with honey and lemon haven't helped at all 😕
