I am sick of sleepless nights! does anyone have any tips?

I'm 30.1 weeks and I'm struggling to sleep. I can get comfy but I just can't seem to shut down. I am getting up and going downstairs in hope of feeling tired in front of the TV but nothing is working. How do you all send yourselves off to sleep? Any advice is greatly appreciated. I'm desperate to sleep 😭😴

I'm almost 38 weeks and I have my days where I struggle I've downloaded a bunch of games on my phone sometimes I watch tv but on some days that doesn't work and I won't end up falling asleep till almost 6am and then I have to be up at 7am to take my son to school. It's horrible I end up in a very bad mood or feeling like a zombie. What has helped the most is showering before bed.

Here's the advice I HATED hearing when I was at ur stage not to long ago..
It's about to get a WHOLE LOT WORSE FROM HERE..if ur uncomfortable now,  ur in trouble. .by the time u hit 36 weeks u just want to be put in a coma and woken up at delivery. .
Get as many pillows as u want,  can, it's all useless- for SOME lucky ones,  pillows work..for the majority of us, no amount of anything did anything. .
And here's the even WORSE thing I hated to hear from everyone (that turned out so very true). Enjoy the little sleep ur getting now,  it's SACRED. U will learn to live on 30 minutes to 2 hrs naps in a 24 hrs period..u will learn to run on fumes...be a complete mess and go without daily showers...some lucky ones get babies that sleep through anything for 5 hours at a time, most of us get the colic baby that screams no matter what for 6 -10 hours straight...and sleeps for 20 MINUTES (out of exaustion) only to start from the top again...
Enjoy the uncomfortable sleep. ..it's honey..it's the golden, it's sacred..

I take a warm bath, put the fan on high or turn the AC down low, get myself into the most comfortable position, and turn on some New Age music to a low level (I'm really liking Enya right now.)  The bath and low temp help get my body ready, and the music helps relax my mind. If that doesn't work after an hour, I take a Tylenol PM. It's a step in the right direction. I used to have to take melatonin every night before I was pregnant to get any sleep, insomnia sucks!

My doctor approved Tylenol PM for the back pains and discomfort and to help me sleep, unfortunately after the 4th use it stopped being beneficial and I was still awake through the nights following. 😔
