Air Force questions?

I really want to go into the Air Force, but at 17 and with a nearly 1 year old, I'm not sure how much of a possibility that is. My boyfriend and I are currently living together, but we are not married, and we do both have custody of our child. I have heard that a "single" parent cannot enlist. Period. But does this include non-wedded parents who both have custody of the child? I have heard of others who have given partial custody to relatives and such to enlist, so would my boyfriend count as such to be able to enlist as he does also have legal custody? Very confused right now, any tips of the Air Force whatsoever will be appreciated!
