Out of curiosity, how long did you wait after having a miscarriage to start trying again and how long did your dr suggest to wait?

When did you get your period back after the miscarriage?? I feel my body is trying to start but nothing. We have been TTC since 19 days post D&C (I was 6 weeks) and am currently 3 weeks 4 days post D&C. Obviously would love if my period didn't show but I'm being realistic with myself about the situation.
