Need advice please

Any mom's have a baby with reflux and /or problems with swallowing? My son is 8 months and has been on medicine for reflux since 2 weeks old. He has a problem with fluids going back into esophagus including saliva. I need advice on what I can/should be feeding him and how much. I know certain things will flare up the reflux and I'm not sure about the swallowing problem with foods. We go back to see ent and another swallow study in December and hopefully I can get better answers then. I just feel like he's really behind on eating solids. Part of me is scared because of the swallowing problem. I tried to yogurt melt things and he ate two fine but the third he got choked on and I had to stick my finger down his throat to remove it. A few baby foods he will eat just fine. Others I've tried and he gags sometimes to the point of throwing up. Any advice is appreciated! I just don't want my son to be behind because I'm doing something wrong.
