Is eating right before using treadmill bad?

I recommend eating something light about 30-60 minutes before running, like half a banana. If you eat right before running, you will most likely feel very sick.

Your body can only focus it's energy on one thing, so when you eat heavy then workout, your body will focus the energy on the workout and not the digestion process.  So you most likely will not feel good during your workout.  It's best to eat something small (a banana, coffee) before and then eat heavy afterwards.  Plus your metabolism will be faster after the workout, so you will metabolize your food quicker afterwards!

It won't kill you but you'll likely feel uncomfortable. I don't use the treadmill but instead run outside. Typically I can't run for a few hours after eating otherwise I'll get cramps and have to stop.
