Is the pill still effective if I began my first pack in the middle of my cycle? My doctor didn't tell me I was supposed to start on my period or the sunday after it starts so I started it the day I got it which was November 7th and my period was supposed to come November 15 and it didn't. Since then, I have had unprotected sex with my boyfriend but I haven't let him finish inside of me just to be on the safe side. Is the pill in effect against pregnancy or am I not protected? Also should I keep taking the pills in order or should I wait until my period to start a new pack?
