I know it seems like a stupid question but better safe than sorry! I'm new at this!

I'm Mexican. All we eat is spicy foods. And to be honest I had to change my entire diet ! 
Most people will say it's fine but here's what I think. It might hurt baby's tummy and when they poop it's gonna burn their little butt. That was more than enough for me to say I give up on spicey foods !

I’m Mexican and I eat spicy foods all day long. I did notice that in the beginning my baby would have tummy aches so I stopped eating any spicy foods for a few months and slowly introduced it back in. My son is now 19+ months old and I breastfeed him all throughout the day and night still but I now am back to eating a crazy amount of spicy food and he’s 100% fine. He has no issues now so I’d say hold off for a bit and then introduce it later if you want.

Eating spicy foods while bread feeding can cause the baby to have a severe upset stomach that you can't sooth for him/her. If you are going to eat spicy foods and bread feed I would recommend giving the baby a dose of gas drops before you feed him/her. Spicy foods can also cause acid reflux for the baby. This is a miserable and uncomfortable thing for a baby to have to deal with.
