hip area pain before period

I am supposed to get my period in 8 days, I am on birth control pills so I don't ovulate, I had sex 2 times in the past week, he pulled out, i took a shower this morning and when I was washing by my hip area on the right side it hurt not terrible but I felt it, it kinda looks like it's bruised but I'm not sure if it's bruised or if this is normal before getting your period?
