So I'll start by saying I'm a registered veterinary technician. I have a career that I'm very passionate about. However since having my two babies I want to work part time. My husband is an electrician and works long days so it's up to me to be available to bring and pick up kids from daycare. I get the calls if they are sick. I basically do it all. So it only makes sense I work part time. I also do all the cleaning, other house chores, dentist and doctor appointments, groceries, taking care of dogs... basically everything while working part time. I want to be able to pick up my son from school when he starts next year. I'm so tired at the end of the day that I usually crash on the couch. I understand he works but so do I. I feel unappreciated especially when he's always nagging me to go back full time. As soon as I ask him who will pick up the kids and all the above mentioned he just changes the subject. Am I missing something? By the way we have zero family here to help out. I'm not a lazy person but family is my priority. We don't NEED the extra income, he just wants it. Please tell me I'm not crazy and I'm doing the right thing 😓
