This sounds pathetic but I am more afraid of getting an IV put in during birth than labor itself. Last time I had a surgery three nurses could not get an IV in my wrist and it was the worst pain ever! They eventually gave up and put it in  the crease of my elbow. I had a sore wrist for a couple of days after they dug around so much. Anyone have any tips to make it easier for them to get an IV in my wrist for when I have to give birth? Should I keep myself super hydrated?
