When did you announce to family?

My husband and I found out we were expecting for the first time back in July and we were so excited we announced to our family and friends when I was supposed to be 7 weeks. We found out at our 8 week appointment that the baby no longer had a heartbeat and had not grown since 6 weeks. Everyone was so upset. I just found out 2 days ago that I'm roughly 3 weeks along again and I want to tell my parents so badly since they were so supportive after the miscarriage in August...and I feel like I want to talk to them (especially my mom) about all the things I'm feeling. Do you think this is too soon? When did you tell family?

Tell your mom but tell her to keep it to herself until you want to tell people.

Told my parents at 6 weeks. Told family at 12 weeks. Social media at 16 weeks 😊

We waited till 13w to announce the third time after loosing two pregnancies in the first trimester. Didn't want to have to tell everyone we had problems again.

I told my parents and my inlaws immediately. If I had a miscarriage (I sure hope I don't) I would want to have their support. I'm not the type of person that can go through painful situations alone. It's good to have support. I would tell them. You might wait to tell extended family but I would tell immediate family. I told my extended family yesterday at thanksgiving and I'm 8 weeks. So it could be a little early but it's my first pregnancy and we're antsy!

My family was there when I found out both times mine was a 4 year difference first one was a  miscarriage so I was scared when I found out in April I was pregnant again. If they r supportive I would tell them so if something does happen ur not dealing it alone

Sorry for you loss but congrats on the new pregnancy - I would think since your mum has been supportive through the miscarriage you could tell her but just keep the circle small explaining that after last time your just wanting to be a little cautious about how many people you tell early on. Clearly wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months but ask yourself if the worst were to happen who would you want to tell to support you and then why not share your news with these people - that way you get to share you excitement with people without the worry. If you need somebody to talk to your parents are definitely good to tell now and you can always ask them to keep it to themselves until you're ready to make a big announcement. They should be very understanding that you need support and don't want to let everybody in on it yet.
