Completely Useless SO!
So, this is a pregnant lady ranting a little bit, again! Second rant of the day. 
I made my first ever long term visit to my SO's native land of Brazil, Rio, for a month. At five months pregnant! Grumble grumble grumble, any idea how miserable flying 8 hours is when you're pregnant? Grumble.
Well, the very first night I'm in "our" home, his apartment of the last 5 years, a smoke alarm starts beeping. In the kitchen with the 14 foot ceilings. Well, SO is a tech manager or something equally rediculous. And I am an engineer by training. Guess who designed our oh so safe ladder to press the button to delay the beeping for 8 hours? NOT me.
But guess who he tried to make climb up there! Useless!
Buy a ladder, you full grown man!!
