Easy birth?

Question

One thing my doctor told me was to never brag about how simple my pregnancy has been so far; other ladies don't want to hear it. So I don't mention it a lot, but I am curious from other mothers who have had a very breezy pregnancy, does that mean I'll most likely have an easy birth as well? 
I'm a first time mother and I try not to worry about the birth, because what will happen, will happen. But I can't help feeling anxious and scared.

same with me! Had easy pregnancy dispite a few hiccups. gained 3 pounds! Cute little bump. perfect! Got to the hospital at 5:30am. had baby in my arms by 7:45am. natural birth cause i had no time for the epidural i would have otherwise taken...a week later i was 10 pounds below my pre-pregnancy weight. had a very easy baby slept all the time and did her complete nights by 3 months,10-13 hours. 2 of my docs told me to never tell any of this to other moms. they would be mad,or jeleous, that it would be better to keep it to myself. so here are MY thoughts on this.
Back in the day having babies was normal and no one mentioned much about it, women had 10 kids and no drama there. Later on women started saying how "being a mom is not so perfect" and "pregnancy is not so cute afterall".  It became a popular thing to say how bad it can get physically and mentally. it became cool to say "this sucks" and postpartum depression became the new normal. (It is true and very sad im not saying anything against it dont get me wrong) So now we get pregnant and expect our pregnancy and first years of motherhood to be a living hell cause everyone talks about it that way. That we will go through the "terrible twos" and "fucking fours" and newborns mean you will never sleep again. But then some of us have great pregnancies and easy babies and "we cant say anything" cause others will be mad?! I was pissed! Why cant others just be happy for us? If you tell me you were not nausious pregnant i'm freakin happy for you! Cant anyone be happy that things are going smoothly for others? Maybe saying that its not all that bad will make other girl want babies and will maybe make someone not have an abortion cause they would realize its not terrible for everyone! Anyways...to answer your question i had an easy

Not sure how having an easy one is something to brag about, lol. I feel like it would be the other way around. Making it through months and months of awful morning sickness, hospitals stays, never able to sleep, pain so bad we're bed ridden and can't stand up without help. That sounds like something to brag about. I feel like we all deserve easy labors haha.

Anyway, I know with my mom, she had an extremely difficult pregnancy, and a REALLY easy labor, and I know someone else who had a really easy pregnancy but labored for 3 days and was in serious pain. I would assume it really depends on the person.

My first pregnancy was a breeze never got sick never really had any pregnancy symptoms or complications my only symptom was peeing a lot at the end it was honestly like the perfect pregnancy n I thought my labor would be rough cause of how easy n smooth my pregnancy was but I had a pretty easy labor n delivery too my water broke on its own on my due date n I was only in labor a lil less then 8 hours now with my second I had every pregnancy symptom there was n was really sick in the beginning n I tested positive for group b strep n I had to be induced on my due date cause my amniotic fluid was low but I still had a pretty easy labor n delivery especially for being induced I was only in labor 3 n a half hours honestly I think it just depends on the person n how well there body is prepared to birth the baby.

I've always had wonderful pregnancies. Never sick, didn't gain too much, ate whatever I wanted. I loved being pregnant. But my first birth was rough. I was in so much pain and wasn't able to get an epidural until 6 cm. After that everything was good. With my other two I got the epidural before they got bad (felt more like pms) but when it was time to push I felt every contraction. It is different for everyone and even different for each baby.

I get morning sickness, but I've had 4 wonderful pregnancies & I actually enjoy being pregnant :) I have a tip back uterus, so all of my labors have been back labor ranging from 6-34 hours :( But it's always worth it!

I had a hard pregnancy as far as the nausea and pressure pain.. I vomited every day all day up until 3 days before I delivered my baby. Once I got my epidural labor was easy. Didn't feel a thing.. without the epidural I can only imagine the pain it would have been

My first pregnancy was good and labor was still a normal first birth. 18 hrs of labor 45 mins of pushing. Wasn't easy by no means but no complications.

First pregnancy was a breeze- never sick, never in pain, looked great, felt great... labor was a nightmare because of baby's position.  I  gave up after 15 hours because she wasn't turning.  I crossed my arms across my chest, shut my eyes, and trembled for 2 hours, while the doc was delivering other babies, before my baby was in enough distress for them to call the csection.
