Do you have an espiotomy?

Question

Did you Doctor let you rip natural? Or perform an espiotomy?
*if you don't know what it is I highly suggest you research and ask you Doctor what they prefer during delivery.

I had the same Doctor deliver all 3 of my children.
I had an episiotomy with my first, and healed fine.
My second was 9lbs 7oz and required a bigger cut. I was SO SORE, and miserable for awhile. 
My third was induced early and because of that I didn't need one.
My sister's Doctor had her tear, because of preference of the Doctor. He saw it as more natural. Anyway she tore naturally and then was stitched back up.
Everyone on my side of the family tore when they delivered, rather be naturally or through an espiotomy.

With my first born I tore but just barely my OB at the time said it didn't require stitches or anything. Hoping I get lucky enough not to tear this time or if I do hope it's minor like before.

It's not have an episiotomy or a small natural tear.. it's normally only performed as a last resort if the baby is not going to fit and the tear would be extremely serious. 
My choice was have an emergency section or an episiotomy. 
I healed quickly and perfectly from mine. 
I would rather have had a clean surgical cut then be left to rip open to God knows what extent.
