Do you plan your own baby shower?

I'm 6 months pregnant and people keep asking me if I'm having a baby shower. Surely a baby shower isn't planned by myself?! Also if it's not ten I can't see any of my friends/family have time to arrange one!

I will be planning my own baby shower. Not just because technically I'm a certified event planner but because I really want control over everything and I don't really trust anyone to do it my way.

It's traditionally thrown for you by a friend or family member. However, if no one offers or has the time to do it, there's no reason you should have to miss out because of this, many people throw their own baby shower these days.

It can be. I feel that a close friend or family member should offer to throw it for you but if nobody has offered and you want one definitely give yourself a baby shower.
