Contractions before water broke?

For those of you ladies who had their water break naturally, did you have any contractions beforehand? Feel free to tell your story below :)

The day before my water broke I was at work and my lower back hurt so unbelievably bad. I then noticed I was getting cold like symptoms . The next day everything seemed pretty normal. My husband happend to get off work an hour early that night so we ordered pizza and he was about to shower so I sat down to ice my feet because they were extremely swollen and my water broke right on the couch lol

I was in and out of false labor for A week before my water broke! When it actually broke I was so relieved! I knew I was finally having a baby!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻

My water broke when I got up early one morning to go to the bathroom. I don't recall feeling any contractions until a little later when we were on our way to the hospital, and at that they were super mild. It's possible I was having contractions beforehand and they were just too mild to wake me up!

Was induced with my first, but with my second I probably had contractions throughout most the day, but they were sporadic and didn't increase in intensity so I don't consider them contractions. Around 7:30 pm I got my first somewhat painful, stomach hardening contraction and told my husband I thought it was time. Walked around for a minute or two just to double check and sure enough they were coming at 8 minutes apart so we loaded up and headed to the hospital. I had increasing intense contractions all the way to the hospital (30 minute drive plus it was blizzarding) at 8:30 I step out of the car in the hospital parking lot and boom water broke. So I was having about an hour worth of decent contractions before my water broke. Then they just got super intense after that and she was born at 10:48 pm. (I have short labors)
