✨I would like y'all to share your stories  of what you did , who you told and what were your thoughts when you had that positive test staring back at you 😆

Norm wouldn't post a long story like this but I thought this would be worthy.

Left work in KY and went straight to MO with my aunt and mom because my nana got really sick and we thought she had a stroke or another heart attack. Got their and they told us she had stage 4 lung cancer that had already metastasized to her brain. Told us she only had 4 months to live if that. We were all completely devistated. The worst news we had ever heard. I cried and told my aunt and mom I wish I could have had my first child before this happened so she could meet him or her. 5 days later found out I was 10 weeks pregnant! Had no clue because my child's father didn't get off in me and I took plan b the next morning. I had been super stressed with work and my nana getting terminally I'll that being pregnant never crossed my mind. My nana was so happy and excited and held on for 8 months! She died a month before he was born but I know she was with me when I had him and still is to this day. She didn't get to meet him, but she got to know the gender which I didn't even think she would make it to find out that and was their my almost entire pregnancy. She was over joyed with happiness and KNEW it was a boy! I honestly believe she held on as long as she could to meet her very first great grandchild. Long story I know, but this story is the best memory ever for me and a grace of God that I was able to conceive even though I stupidly took plan b.

Long story short , my coworker read me a horoscope saying " congrats will be in order soon " still was in disbelief, later I finally took a test and it was positive . I told my sisters first then got it confirmed I was 8/9 weeks  that Friday from the doctors office and told my SO . Now I'm 36 weeks and the time flew by 💕😊

I tested at about 8 or 9 dpo, not really expecting anything, but I was hopeful. I got the faintest line ever and was so excited! I wanted to wait until I had a cute way of announcing to tell my husband, then fiance, but I couldn't contain the excitement so I took another test the next day that had a much more visible line, and then I woke him up to show him. He was confused, and said, "It's negative". He has very poor eyesight, was not wearing glasses, and he is not a morning person. I cannot stop laughing at his reaction. He thought I woke him out of deep sleep to show him a negative test!

My fiance had just moved to Alaska to start his job in construction living with his brother when halfway through his flight to Alaska I bought a pregnancy test since we had been trying for over a year and didn't think my results would be positive. Well it was a bfp! I called him to let him know, it was scarier for him since he just moved to Alaska to start a new life. I ended up having to tell my dad so I could prepare for our little one. He was in Alaska when I found out with my mom that we were having a little boy. 6 months in to my pregnancy and he made his way back and we picked his name, Kaiden. Our son changed our lives for the best, we have the best relationship, we do great as parents and wouldn't change a thing! Now we are 28 weeks 3 days with our little girl Issabella. So happy together and such proud parents. ❤

First time was in Las Vegas I was suppose to get my period didn't won't to wear anything if I wasent going to start we had been trying 7 months with many miscarages before hand. Told my husband I was going to take a test he said ok I did and there was the possitive I showed him he said oh fuck 😂 second time was fathers day the day before my husband was scedruled to get the snip done. My sister in law had been bugging me to do a test saying watch well both be prego (she found out 9 days beforehand) so I did just to shut her up didn't wait the time limit just didn't see anything threw it away. 30 min later had a feeling to go look at the test again it was possitive. I yelled for my husband to come here why my mother in law watched our toddler. I was crying asking him if he fucking sees this. He said everything's ok gave me hugs I called my sister in law asked if she had a test we went and got it I peed on it I was not going to wait and there it was possitive. We ended up telling my mother in law later that day she found out about me and my sister in law then. We gave her 2 presents each with a test and when due date should be. She asked who's tests they where I told her that one is mine and my sister in law said that one is hers. My mother in law said you guys got to be shitting me why she's crying smelling and said she needs a drink 😂 sadly my sister in law lost hers at around 8 weeks the baby stopped growing 😞

I had no clue I was pregnant or that it was a possibility because I was on BC and took it properly everyday. I was driving on the highway going to work when I had to turn my hazards on and pull over to the shoulder so I could throw up. After that I started freaking out a little bit because I hadn't even realized I was late for my period that month, so as soon as I got off work I bought a cheap 89cent test and took it. I really didn't think it would come back positive, I thought maybe it was what I had for breakfast that morning but the test came back with such a dark line there was no way i wasn't pregnant. My heart started racing, I didn't know wether to cry or be excited. I'm only 18 so I was extremely scared too. I first called my bf and told him and he didn't have much to say 🙄 and then that night I just started crying and told my mom I had to talk to her, thank god she took the news as well as she did lol that night I downloaded glow to estimate how far I was, and I started reading women's post, I started googling all these things about pregnancy and reading stories about young mothers and that's when I stopped thinking so negatively and started embarrassing the fact that what was done is done and all I could do was move forward. Now I'm so thankful for my son, I'm not even due until January and he's already changed my life for the best. Unfortunately not with his father any longer after multiple incidents of being cheated on and emotionally abused but I'm not dwelling on it because I'll do whatever will make my sons life better! Now I just can't WAIT ANY LONGER for January 😂 I almost have his nursery completed and it all seems surreal. 💙😍

My husband and I got married in June of 2015. We decided to start trying for a baby in January of 2016. We conceived in March 2016, and I got my first positive pregnancy test in April while we were on vacation, camping on a beach in South Carolina. I waited all day to tell him. That evening at sunset, I wrote it in the sand with the test laying at the end. He seriously did not believe me! He thought I "bought the test online" and was just playing a joke on him. He finally believed me. We waited to tell my parents the next day and his the day after. I'm now 37w4d with our little boy and scheduled to have a C-section December 9th. 💙

I began studying the process of fetal development and it really intrigued me. I loved how a little clump of cells turned into a baby. I researched quite a bit about fetuses and discussed with my boyfriend about having a baby. He said we should wait until he finishes school and gets a job. I agreed. About 6 months after that, I missed my period. I let a month go by as my periods are irregular. I took a test and it said negative. I ended up taking 9 tests which all were negatives so I just accepted I wasn't and moved on. However I still hadn't gotten my period. I went with my sister in law to her OB appointment and she jokingly told the receptionist to make me an appointment for a blood test. To our surprise, there was an opening and they did one. I got the call that I was pregnant and I was thrilled! My boyfriend and I were both over the moon. Birth control failed us but we weren't upset about it. This baby has saved my life and I'm grateful for the opportunity to give her the kind of childhood I would have wanted.

My boyfriend & I had moved to California and were trying so desperately to get a place of our own, but it was like impossible. So we were staying in all of these hotels, some very nice, & some not so nice.. I had been feeling like death for a week & I didn't know what was wrong with me. My periods were always a little late so being pregnant never crossed my mind, even though we never did anything to prevent it, nor were we trying.. I would be so hungry & want to eat but as soon as I ate something I would be sooo sick. A few more weeks went by & we were still in this not so nice hotel lol & I decided that I should probably get a test since my period still didnt come. Previous times I got a test and my period was late I would end up getting my period that same day😒 so I bought two tests & went back to the hotel. I went to go pee on it & I had a little bit of spotting. I was like seriously again!? I just wasted 20$ on tests to get my period! Lol but something told me to still take it. & so I did & I wasn't even done peeing when it turned SO BLUE it was the definitely a BFP!! I just stared at it, sitting on the toilet in this hotel.. I opened the door and handed my boyfriend the test and he just stared at it. We were in complete shock.. I had too many emotions I didn't know what to feel. My boyfriend lightened the mood by reminding me it was our anniversary & that we finally got our baby after almost 3 years of not preventing it. Baby boy will be here April & I couldn't be more excited. 💙
