No, because his ex smashed his heart and cheated on him and was rude in general so even though it would also make me jealous, the main reason is cause I love him too much to see him be reminded of the pain she caused by cheating and to see him get verbally/ emotionally abused like that again.

They may look at each other differently. Old feelings could come up and I wouldn't trust it. I also wouldn't tell him who he can and can't be friends with.
