What's the difference between Ortho Cyclen and Ortho Tri Cyclen birth control pills? Can I still skip a period on just the ortho cyclen one if I want to? Never done it before don't want to mess anything up

You can. I was on ortho tri cyclen but I like my period so I never skipped it

Monocyclic birth control like ortho cyclen have only one cycle of hormones. Only one dose of hormones. Tricyclic birth control have 3 cycles of hormones in a 28 day cycle. 3 different doses then a placebo.
