DID I JUST RUIN THIS? INEXPERIENCED DATER 18yr
So I recently hit up this guy on Instagram. Our convos are friendly and at point I told him to text me and so we have been doing just that. The convo is just your getting to know convo/ small talk/ exchange of funny jokes. The thing is we don't flirt. We don't say stuff like "I think you're cute/nice smile/I like__ about you " or send any cute emojis. Smiles yes, and I've hinted at hanging out early on albeit in cute way lol which he responded rather well too I think at least
It's really just been friendly and cute. I've really just been trying to take this feel like as a "making a new friend" type of thing. So it takes the pressure of myself into overthinking everything.
But it's a little hard due to the fact that I find him attractive AND the fact that I want to hang out with him. So my friend just convinced me to ask him if he has a gf. Esp. Since our convo hasn't been extremely flirtatious or there hasn't been a direct message where I or him say we are interested in one another. The problem is now I think maybe it's going to be awkward now. Idk did I make the right call? Like is asking this question so terrible. Cause dating for brings pressure on to me. If anything I'd love to hang out with him and see how it goes from there.
