waters or discharge?

Okay this is what my underwear looked like before I changed. But I sniffed it and it's definitely not urine so is my waters leaking or is it just discharge. How can I tell? Ps. 40+5 😣

Put on a  pad if it's full before an hour it's your water... another thing just sit on the toilet and if something leaks out it's definitely your water. That's what I did. I was 41+2

I called the midwife line once with the same question. She said put on clean underwear with a pad and sit for 30 minutes. If you get a gush when you get up or you feel the leaking while you are sitting, come and get checked.

But seeing as you are full term, you may want to call anyway because if you have a tear in your membranes, it can leak small amounts and my OB with #1 told me I should go have the fluid evaluated (at that time, I used to get fluid that would drop down my legs and reach the floor but it was only a hind water leak)
