should I give up

So I met this guy & he told me when we met that he tends to go through life stuff.. that he just needs help getting through some stuff.. & that he sometimes he has days where he doesn't want to text.. but now I just feel like he's ignoring me... I texted him happy birthday no response.. but he's on fb saying thanks to them etc.. then he calls his friends which are mine asking Wyd/Wya I tell them to leave my name out just in case he ask who's all around but nothing at this point I blocked his number because I know he's not going to text.. but what to do ladies?
