Moving advice

I've been stressing about this for about 5 months now and the beginning of January I have to move out. I am considering either Virginia/DC/Maryland area OR Northern California near my love (bf). I desperately want to live near him, we have been together over a year LDR and if i move somewhere else it will be at least 2 more years apart. BUT I'm wanting to move close to the DC area for job opportunities. I don't know what to do and it's driving me crazy x.x Any opinions?
