c section or vaginal delivery?

For moms who have done both , which one was a better recovery and easier overall?

Why anyone would CHOOSE to have major surgery than let your vagina do what it's designed to do is beyond me!! I have had 10 natural births without pain relief and 1 emcs and would def choose normal!!

I have had a csection and natural. I healed faster with my natural and bonded better. Unfortunately, I am scheduled for a csection on Friday. I am very disapointed. I really wanted another vbac but it is out of my hands at this point. I always recommend vaginal deliveries.

Uhm I don't wanna sound like a negative Nancy but you can't choose! They usually induce if it's your first and it's past your due date! And if induction doesn't work then they do c Section. But I will say this 3 days on pitocin wasn't that bad I ended up having to have a c Section but I'm totally trying for a VBAC next time!

I haven't had both but I can tell you my c-section experience was horrible. I am 8 weeks pp and my incision is still not fully healed. I got a terrible infection and had to have my incision re-opened at 2 weeks pp, drained of the infection and then packed to alow it to heal from the bottom up.  I had nurses coming everyday to treat an open wound.  It was disgusting and horribly painful.

My csection experience wasn't bad at all lol. If things were to play out the same way in the future and I needed another, i wouldn't have any issues with it happening whatsoever.

I had a cesarean almost 6 yrs ago come January & my dr told me I have to have another one but it healed great in my 8 week recovery.  I was so thankful that it did too bc I wouldn't like to have caught an infection then have it opened again due to that

I had a scheduled csection and the recovery was not bad. I was up the next day waking and taking my shower. But don't get me wrong it's major surgery!

I went natural. Contractions hurt like nothing else. But an hour later I was in the shower and felt good as new
