Sharp pain low and brown discharge 30 weeks TMI

I'll be 30 weeks tomorrow and I've been having some sharp pain low and in the middle, like right above my pelvic bone. I thought maybe I had to use the bathroom and in doing so I noticed (sorry TMI) I had a bloody smell and my discharge seemed darker, I'm wearing a dark pink underwear so I can't tell if its brown or just darker yellow. It's like a thick sticky discharge so I can't really get a sample on toilet paper When I wipe I have no discharge but now I'm worried. Is the pain a concern and if this is brown discharge should I go into my doctor?
