is this a rebound?????

I am a junior in high school and was with an sbusive guy for what would've been a year on dec 10th. We broke up 21 days ago. It wasn't good but I got out at least. This boy that I've had a crush on in the past and have known for six years (jeez) has broke up with his girlfriend two weeks after I got out of my relationship. Me and him started hanging out and talking all the time, we were really enjoying hanging out and being in each other's company. (We went to a school play, a winter parade, and a basketball game together also)
