Does castor oil really work or what else is good to have baby sooner??? Tomorrow is my husband's bday and my due date is December 9 and i would love to have my baby girl tomorrow lol but not sure ifi should try castor oil to have my baby tomorrow 😁😁😁😁

Castor oil is dangerous i wouldnt use it unless your doctor okays it first and there isnt a guarantee that itll work

My doctor says no. It puts baby at risk of pooping in the womb and just gives you the shits.

If your body hasn't given you any signs of prepping for labor, it probably wouldn't work. Most induction methods don't work unless your body was already prepared. And castor oil isn't the best option. It can give you diarrhea and cause baby to have their first bowel movement in the womb which could cause them to swallow meconium.

I tried it as a LAST resort to prevent being induced as I wanted to go all natural and was 41.2 weeks along.  I took 1tbs twice a day with Greek yogurt as recommended by midwife.  I had no tummy troubles at all.  It helped start early labor but it did not do a great job.  I ended up being induced anyway and my daughter did pass her merconium during delivery but it is high likelihood of that happening after your due date anyways.  I probably wouldn't try it again just because it didn't do a whole lot and if you take too much it can cause major tummy issues.

It's really not recommended anymore because it is high risk for making your baby pass meconium and need to have their lungs cleared after birth.
