dvt recovery time

I'm 27 weeks 4 days I've been having left leg pain for about a week and a half I was misdiagnosed twice and yesterday a blood clot was finally found in my left groin I've started blood thinner injections I'm just wondering if anyone else has been through this and how long it took for pain to become bearable I'm really wanting to get back to work next week and was told as soon as I felt like I could stand and walk without terrible pain I could get back to work
