My husband is an MA. We are curious about salaries around the US. What do you make per hour?

I make 14 an hour but that's the low end in Minnesota.

Lucky me. Pays equal to nurses in Europe. But the training is 4 years too over here. Remains a small salary. Around €80 per day.

It's a 2 year associates degree, and then you pay to take a state board. I make $12 an hour, but have only been a CMA for about 4 years now. I'm going back to nursing school in the fall. My advice, don't waste your time. You can get an associates in nursing and make twice the amount of money with the same amount of schooling.

Do you need to have a special certification or degree to be an MA? I was wanting to get a part time job as an MA while going to college in the fall but won't if i need to get a different degree for it
