Did your period return normally while or after breastfeeding

My daughter just turned one year and she is still nursing. Weaning is tough! But my husband and i want to start trying for #2. I just got my period back two weeks ago and am hoping it will be regular. I am wondering if  continuing to nurse will make me irregular. She has been my first so i dont have any experience here and Google hasnt been too helpful.

I have a 22 month year old that still nurses. I have had my period 3 times and the cycles seem pretty normal to me. I do use the opks and seems like ovulation occurs.

I nursed exclusively & started my period at 4 months postpartum. If it's started, it should continue regularly. I've heard of plenty of women getting pregnant while breastfeeding. So, it'd take opks to see if you're ovulating, & get busy.

I got my period 2 months pp and ebf. Nursed until my daughter was 16 months. Became pregnant (by surprise) when she was 14 months.

BF is supposed to delay ovulation but wasn't my case. My husband and I started trying for baby #2 when we were 6 months PP. I had my period return when I was 4 months PP. Periods were pretty regular. 31-32 day cycle. Conceived our first month trying. My boys are now 19 months and 13 weeks and EBF now with no form of birth control so we will see if it delays or if we get preggo again.

And yes... I'm fully aware sex makes babies and I don't need the lecture of "wow... you are dumb" for wanting my kids close in age.
