Am I overthinking?

So two days ago my boyfriend and I decided to have sex. I was pretty sure I was completely off my period at that point since period sex is a big no no for him. As soon as it was done I noticed I had left blood all over the condom and a little on his thighs! Even when I took off the condom and he cleaned himself up there was that brown-end-of-your-period blood all over the wipe. I apologized profusely and felt so bad! He said it was fine just that we should wait longer next time. I thought everything was okay but he's barely talked to me and hasn't taken my invitations to come over. Am I just overreacting or do you all think he's just really disgusted with me? 😔
