can you eat while you're in labor?

Are you allowed to eat while you're in labor? Or you have to stick to the ice? That's the only thing I know of you being able to munch on lol and I know you can't eat much. If you were able to eat what did you eat and did it mess with labor? can you share your stories on how that worked for you or other women you know? Please inform me lol I always wondered this because I hear stories of women being in labor for 10+ hours and just now thinking about how they have to go without food 😭😭 I want to become a doula ❤️
