Pre eclampsia? Can you tell me your stories with it?

I've been having some trouble and my doctor seems to not care or listen! Did anyone have symptoms for awhile and their doctor act like it was nothing? Or couldn't find it?

My pre eclampsia started around 35wks5dys with the WORST HEADACHE EVER... I couldn't sleep a whole night, they were telling me it was because I was stressing. So that morning I went into the ER told them what had happened and they kept me in the hospital until 37weeks to induce me. Thankfully everything went well with my daughter and I.

For me the first sign was swelling! I know swelling is actually a normal sign of pregnancy but I was already swelling before I was actually showing. You also tend to have bad heachaches, high blood pressure, & protein in your urine if it gets far enough.
