Relationship.

Okay ladies, i have a question..

I just got into a relationship about 2 weeks ago and im crazy about this guy like i can see myself falling for him, I still live with my parents and well they are strict roman catholics and so am I but we have fooled around a bit but that's besides the point , today he dropped me off at home and i forgot my keys, well i called my mother and she said she wouldn't be home for about 30 minutes, he offered to stay and I said "you don't have to unless you want to" which let's be honest I wanted him to stay, well he left so I was alone in the 13° weather and it was snowing for 45 minutes when my mom came home she told me we should break up cause that's not gentlemen like do you think it was rude ?
