When can I get an ultrasound?

When was your first ultrasound?

6 weeks (we did ivf though) and because I'm high risk i get them every 2-3 weeks. But my dr usually does them at 8, 12 (if you want the first trimester screening), 20 and maybe once or twice after that.

I have a doctor appointment December 14th. I should be 7 weeks, I'm a first time mom so I don't know what to expect but I'll let you know if they do one.

I had one at 12 weeks because being a first time mom I told my midwife I was scared and wanted to make sure everything was okay (loved how nice she was), second one was at 22 weeks to get anatomy scan, and lastly at 40+3 to make sure baby was not in distress (had to do a non stress test as well). They usually only do two at my doctors unless you do not know the date of your last period, are not measuring on time, or go over your due date.

First pregnancy it was 8 weeks then 9 weeks but I ended up with a molar pregnancy. So this time I've gone in twice so far; 5 weeks then what I thought was 7.5 but dr measured at 6.5. I go in again next week at about 8.5 weeks.

Depends where you live. I did my test, then went into doctors for blood test .. came back positive and then I requested a dating scan - mind you I wasn't going to stick with the medical centre I went to so I needed it to take to my current health place. I was 7 weeks

20 week anatomy scan was my first scheduled with my doctor. I paid for an early ultrasound gender determination at 17 weeks though.
