My friends bf always goes through her phone and always has messenger up on his phone..
When my other friends is saying private stuff her bf even comments on it in our private girl gc..
I want to tell her something but idk what..it just doesn't seem right
Her and her bf have been dating only a few weeks

Not normal. That's an early warning sign of abuse. He shouldn't be controlling her and invading her privacy like that.

I have been in a controlling relationship and this is NOT okay!!!! It might seem like a jealousy/affectionate thing but there's no reason he has to know what her and all her friends are talking about! Like u said, it's PRIVATE! He obviously has trust issues already which will only lead to more problems

If your friend is fine with it then that's her choice. But most women will have a problem with it, like you because yes some things are private. He needs to at least respect your guys' privacy. He can invade her privacy all he wants since she gives him permission, but when it comes to other people he is not allowed to be all snoopy and shit. And honestly, if they JUST started dating and he's being controlling like that he's only guna get worse. He can't trust his own gf? Why are they dating? Relationships are built on trust, it's good to not have secrets but if you need to surveillance your partner there is a problem. She needs to talk to him and tell him to at least respect you and your privacy as well as your other friends.

This is the generation who overshares after all. Essentially you've done the same thing posting your conversation without the thought lol. No it's not "normal" but she'll learn when she starts losing all her girl friends. She has the concept down. Yes secrets shouldn't be kept. But every single conversation you have with every person is not a secret. They're 2 different people with 2 seperate lives and what's normal is being your own individual and experiencing that on your own. Oh young love, what we used to think we knew about relationships 🙄
