Baby's insane appetite?!

Question

Oh my gosh! Our 4.5 month has had the most insane appetite for the last 2 days. He's chugging anywhere from 5-6 oz sometimes every 1.5-2 hours. Mostly going barely 3 hrs between bottles.

Has anyone else experienced this type of growth spurt (my assumption) at this age?!

Yup! I'm nursing every 2 hours again, and it's been kinda insane...DD was doing every 3 hours at least before, but now she's slowly going back to her old patterns. I could pump a full 4 oz from 1 side this morning when usually I struggle to get 2 during a session, so evidently I was making extra milk the past week or so.

Its either a growth spurt or hes ready for solids. My guy was downing 55 oz a day sometimes more and his doctor said solids and he decreased back to 25 to 30
